Bargain Property on the Costa del Sol

It seems that the real estate market on the Costa del Sol is reacting to the increasing demand of price reduced properties. As we could read in the recently published market study of the Spanish BBVA Bank, to sell the actual stock of properties in Spain the prices should decrease about 30% in total counted from the period of peak prices to the end of next year, being estimated the price decrease for 2010 about 8%. This means that the asking prices of a lot of properties in Spain are around 30 % over their real value due to the constant price increasing years ago. But we would like to point out that the estimations made are generally spoken and can vary for luxury properties and second homes.

The final asking price of a property depends on a lot of factors and in the end the owner has the final say, but if a property is more then one year on the market or respectively two years in this crisis times, the price is clearly too high.
